For the past 35 years, The House Group has been a sanctuary for abused, abandoned, and vulnerable girls from the streets of Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2019, SistersNBloom joined us on our mission to empower and bring hope to these young girls. Their involvement marked a transformative chapter for our home and the girls we support.
SistersNBloom introduced comprehensive leadership training and generously provided technology devices for our computer lab, creating new opportunities for learning and growth. The program's dedication to nurturing the socio-emotional and mental well-being of our girls was evident through their thoughtfully designed youth development programs. These initiatives engaged our girls in meaningful activities that allowed them to develop confidence, resilience, and critical life skills.
Through SistersNBloom’s education, coaching, and mentoring, our older girls received invaluable guidance and support. This mentorship not only enhanced their knowledge but also prepared them for future success. As a result, several of our young women secured employment opportunities related to SistersNBloom's projects after completing their education.
Beyond their hands-on programming, SistersNBloom offered generous financial support, investing in the future of our girls and empowering them to become the leaders of tomorrow. Their unwavering commitment has been a beacon of hope, uplifting our community and helping our girls transition from traumatized teenagers to empowered, productive members of society.
SistersNBloom has truly been our angel, lifting us up when our wings forget how to fly.
